ITS Infrastructure is the team responsible for the design, architecture, installation and ongoing maintenance and security of the core technology underlying the University's ICT Systems. This technology includes the University’s centralised server and storage systems, the University's Data Centres and Communications Equipment Rooms, the University data networks (wired and wireless, LAN and WAN) and the University telephone systems.

Infrastructure is comprised of two groups:

  • Systems Team
Who design, implement and maintain the server and storage systems for the University Community and manage the University’s Data Centres

  • Networks Team
Who design, implement and maintain the University's computer networks, cabling and phone systems

Our mission is to provide and support the University’s ICT infrastructure in a professional manner to levels equal to, or exceeding, industry best practice. Ensuring that the services we provide are reliable, robust and secure - and of a professional quality that will meet the University's current and future needs.
