Systems & Development is responsible for:
Maintaining the central systems required to support the University's corporate functions.
Developing and maintaining networked computer services for the University community.
Maintaining computer systems required by ITS, or systems on contract to the University
or external agencies.Obtaining or developing technical software to support 'ITS' operations.
Our skill sets include expertise in:
System administration for a wide variety of Unix varients, VMS and Windows NT.
Software products, from a variety of vendors as well
as many GNU-licensed and other "free" software.
Analysis and software development in a variety of programming languages and environments.
When we have time free from these "core functions",
We may also be available to do external consulting at a rate of $140/hour
($70/hour for clients inside the University).
