About ITS Infrastructure
ITS Infrastructure is the group responsible for the design, installation and ongoing maintenance and security of the core technology underlying the University's IT Systems. This technology includes the University's Production Servers, Communications and Computer Rooms, the University Network (wired and wireless, LAN and WAN) and the University Phone System.
Infrastructure is comprised of three groups
- Systems and Development
Who develop and maintain computer services for the University Community
- Network Administration
and Development
Who design and implement the University's computer networks and phone systems
- Network
Field Service
Who provide the day-to-day connectivity, switching and patching of the above services.
Our mission is to ensure that the services we provide are reliable, robust and secure and of a professional quality, which will meet the University's current and future needs.
